The Greek word for Another Comforter is “Allos Parakletos” which means another one just like me. The Holy Spirit is as much Divine as Jesus is, He is Lord, He is Jehovah, He is God. He is not the third person of the Godhead, how can He? Who put Him third! He was the first to ever move upon the face of the waters, by His presence He vibrated the ice-cold waters as He hovered majestically over the earth. The Spirit of God is the Supreme Spirit, all other spirits are subject to Him. He is a Ruler Spirit, a King Spirit and a Royal Personage. He is the Governor that governs all things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. He is the One that made us and by His breath we have life. It is only until He is poured upon us from on high that our wilderness becomes a fruiful field and our fruitful is counted as a forest. It is He that causes men to prophesy, see visions and dream dreams. He occupies every space, inhabits all realms, and that is why David proclaimed, “where can I go from your Spirit or where can I flee from your presence, If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there”. He is my life saviour, if He did not lead me to Jesus, I don’t know what my life would have become. I don’t know what else to call Him, so I call Him, His Majesty the Holy Spirit.
